# PMO Desk

> The independent program office that makes India programs deliver the value they were approved for.

PMO Desk runs India programs for the person outside India who is accountable for them (CIO, COO, head of engineering, private equity operating partner, or a Japanese company sourcing from India). An India program is one whose work, team, supply or operation is in India. Indian companies expanding abroad are out of scope.

How it works:
- At the start, the business case becomes three to five measurable results, from the client's own systems.
- At every checkpoint two questions are asked: is the work done, and are the results on track? A checkpoint passes only if both are yes.
- Every program has a fixed end date. Results are checked again 3, 6 and 12 months after handover.
- Every program runs on the PMO Desk platform: one browser-based view of results, checkpoints, plan, risks, cost and vendor scorecards for the client, program lead and vendors, with role-based access. It connects to the client's existing tools and is included in the program fee; after handover it can continue on subscription.
- AI is built into the platform: it drafts reports, extracts actions, flags early warnings and translates Japanese and English; named people review everything and make every decision.
- Independent: PMO Desk does not build centres, employ staff, supply goods or sell vendors, and is paid only by the client. Any connected firm involved in a client's program is disclosed in writing before work starts.
- Priced by program and checkpoint, never by the hour. PMO Desk signs the contract; one named program lead is accountable.
